Lovely Flowers and More

This lovely bouquet from Style Me Pretty is beautiful by itself, but has strands of pink beads laying beside it that adds so much more loveliness.

Aren't the colors so beautiful - soft and lovely pinks and whites.

I found some more lovely flower arrangements at Green Wedding Shoes
I love the addition of fruits (figs, pomegranates, pears, peaches, and the berries of course).  I Really Do Love This Look!

These colors are awesome, the place setting is wonderful ...

Of course I love the bottles ...

The drinks are even lovely aren't they!!!
I don't know what their drink is, but I would love this look with a Cran-Raspberry juice.  I'd love the look and the taste with those fresh berries.

And the cake is great ...

And this swing is awesome too ...

 Gorgeous!!!

I've pinned a few other bouquets and arrangements on my Pinterest Board - Flowers, Bouquets ..., - take a look if you'd like.

Turquoise Lemonade

Hello Naomi had a cute Peter Rabbit themed party with this fun turquoise/aqua lemonade.
I love the soft soothing color of the drink and
I love the cute little glass bottles.

I wanted to know more about each - the bottles and the drink - so I went looking.

Here is what I found -

The bottles are little Italian nectar bottles - sold in Australia.
This photo is from Sweet Style Blog

Here are a few places I have seen these bottles:
Jus de Pommeraie
Imprintables
Santa Vittoria

These are a similar look from Amazon

FYI -
Before I knew about the nectar bottles above I purchased Frappuccino just so I could have some cute little bottles - I dumped the contents, removed the label, and washed the bottles, just for the bottles.
Costco often has them on sale for less than a dollar a bottle and you can't buy empty bottles for that price.

The Yoga bottles at Amazon are less than a dollar each until you pay shipping on them, but maybe they sell them in stores around here somewhere.   I haven't looked!

I sprayed the outside of the lids black and have used them a few times.  They are fun!

The drink - the turquoise drink in those cute little bottles is hand squeezed lemonade with a drop of blue coloring.  The yellow of the lemonade mixed with the blue made such a refreshing color.
That sounds easy enough to make almost any color of lemonade.  Hmmm!  What party color might I be using in the future?

I also found a blue lemonade drink recipe from  Bee in Our Bonnet

_MG_3265

and
Cooks.com has a couple yummy sounding recipes for blue punch here and here,
but they don't show the colors.

Centerpieces

A natural and almost woodsy look from Green Wedding Shoes

What do I love about this look?
So many things, like:

the natural color with the pop of color, in this case a deep purple,
 the burlap and linen look,
the softness of the lovely lace,
twine or yarn wrapped bottles adding a beautiful and personalized color scheme,
scattered flowers and greenery,
wood slices and heart shaped stones,
pom pom yarn bunched and draped around the table,
... it appeals to me ...

Halloween Decor

Candles in Bottles look great on this table found at Tiny Prints

This garland has the sweetest eyes watching all - from Landee See, Landee Do

Cute paint chip candy corn garland from My Sister's Suitcase

Paint a glistening pumpkin like this one from Ruffles and Stuff

---

I think these next pumpkins are so cute!
Wouldn't it be fun to go on a scavenger hunt to find cute items to create fun pumpkin faces like these from My Salvaged Treasures?  Salvaged Treasures is exactly what these pumpkins look like.  It looks so much more fun and so much less messy than carving pumpkins, and they are so adorable.

and this one

Or more simple - just paint them the color of your decor and add a bow like these blue pumpkins from Landee see Landee do

Bottles / Jars / Cans

Saving bottles and jars has been a thing I do for many years now, and it's getting worse - probably because I have more ideas on how to use them now.
Here is a great post from Yellow Brick Home on how to clean wax out of a jar.

Wedding Decor

I thought this was a great and summery look - from Second Chances

It starts at the guest table where guests write a note for the couple and put their message in a jar.
..

Raffia and shell garland is used to create a great look in front of the table.

..

These labels are displayed on the cutest of finials or posts or ??? whatever they are.

..

And, the bouquet had shells in it too - lovely addition to a beautiful collection.

..

More lovely comes in the way of a dressed up gazebo - dressed in lacey curtains.

..

-----
After finishing this post about the Beach Wedding, I found that this family had another Shabby Chic Wedding earlier.
There were several great looks there too.

You'll recognize these label holders from the wedding above - they are wooden salt and pepper shakers, candlesticks and wooden balls, and curly paper clips. Cool!

..

The food tables all had white icicle lights attached to them before the table skirting was put on. They were covered with vinyl lace fabric purchased from JoAnn's and cut to size.  And isn't that bunting cute?!?!?!

 ..

Love the picket fence here!  The backdrop was made from sheets - hung on pvc pipe.
