Riding Toy

One of today's Zulily specials looks so fun to me I thought I'd share the fun.

This is regularly $96.00, but today is $49.99.
It looks like a great gift for grandkids.  (I guess you can tell that my children are all grown up past this stage, but I've got some awesome grandchildren that would love this.)

There are several other Radio Flyer products on sale today too - wagons, bikes, bounce horses, etc.
Check it out at

Amazon

It's Show and Tell Time!

This is not a paid advertisement - it's just a review of one of my favorite things.
This in one of those things that I am grateful for because it makes shopping so much easier.

Yip! On line shopping at Amazon.com is a great thing in my life.
(Really, you probably guessed that by now, because of how often I mention it when I talk about my favorite things.)

I use Amazon quite often and find it very helpful, especially since I live in a rural area that requires much travel time to get to a city large enough to have the variety of stores necessary to complete my shopping needs.

It doesn't replace all of my shopping needs, but it does help, especially when I need to purchase gifts to send away.  I do purchase the Prime Membership and have saved on shipping costs even with the price of the membership.  Gotta Love It!

Thank You Amazon!

Crafting Supplies

It is getting close to Christmas and if for no other reason I would know that because my mail box starts filling up with catalogs ..., Tis the Season!

I received a 20 page catalog in the mail the other day from Consumer Crafts.  It was the first I'd heard about them.  I'm still not sure how they heard about me, but I'm glad they did. It was fun to look through.

After looking through their catalog, I searched through their website and, oh my!, what a place.  Just thought I'd share it with you, though I am in no way affiliated with them, nor do I get any sort of pay or credit for sharing.

My favorite was the Washi Tape page (top right corner photo) and the cute way the Chinese take out box was decorated.  SO FUN!  I'm going to have to do that some time.  I also liked the Joy-ful Snowman.  So you see, they are not just selling craft supplies, they share ideas too.  That is always helpful and enjoyable.

With Christmas coming up soon, I thought I'd share it with you too.  Enjoy!

Box Lunches for a Picnic

We made some fun box lunches for a great group of women - I thought I'd share the look.
Many ideas were found online, and we put them together to create our own look.

We found the boxes HERE.
The recipe for the wraps (wrapped in wax paper squares and tied with bakers twine) were from HERE.  We changed them up a bit by using some spinach wraps and tomato wraps as well as whole wheat wraps.  Mmmm good!
Fresh fruit was served in containers from HERE.
Celophane bags with homemade treats.
Izze drinks from Costco.
Brightly colored plastic ware from Wal-mart.
Paper straws purchased a while ago from Amazon.
Bakers twine from a previous Pick Your Plum sale.
We added our own homemade tags with special messages.

Looking for Box Lunch Boxes

I have seen many great picnic looks with fun lunch boxes.
I've done some searching to find those cute boxes. I'm sure I'll need to refer to it again some day so this post is to save what I have found.

Imagine twine and/or tags on each of these items as you look.
Nashville Wraps has a great variety of packaging items.
Here are a couple I was most interested in.
This first look reminds me of the look I found and saved HERE.
The captions under each photo are links to the site - click to find the purchase info for each.
This second look is a great look too, and has a carrying handle on top.
gable-boxes

Gable boxes can be found on Amazon in bright color.

These from Food Biz Supply have just one top fold, but they you have to buy a large number of them, which is fine if you need a large number.

One more place is Garnish, where I found these to purchase an exact number you might need, but a bit more expensive per item.  As with all of these places, Garnish has some other great items for picnics.

Loving, Saving, and Using the Look

I love looking through wedding blogs. Most of the ideas found at wedding spots can be used for other occasions too. If I Love the Look then I Save the Look in my photo gallery to look at later because someday I might wanna Use the Look.

I did use one look I found. Those adorable paper straws caught my eye and I didn't want to turn away. I really love that look, so I googled "striped straws" and was so excited to learn that I could purchase those cute straws and Use the Look I loved.

Oh What Fun!

And, there are several bright colors, even some polka dots.

I think I'm going to have to come up with another special occasion so I can use a different color...or two.... ;)

Oh Look!
You can find these straws on Amazon. Check out the fun colors!!

 Happy day!
