Nautical Weddings and Beach Weddings

Nautical seems to be dark blues and whites, with occasional reds or yellows added to the mix.

It's sail boats, ropes, shells, sea glass, message in a bottle, oars, anchors, life preservers ....

It seems that nautical is more boats and harbor ..., the sailor look.
And beach is more sand and shells.

Beach balls are appropriate and exciting for a beach wedding.  I love this idea from Every Last Detail, using several small beach balls. I've seen and posted this look before here where they use the larger balls.  The two sizes could even be combined for a fun time.

Party Ideas

(Update - looking back on this post I found that it was "broken".  The links and photos were not working, so I did some research and found it again.  Most of the photos are exactly what I had originally saved, but there are a couple that I didn't know for sure, so I used what I liked this time. They might be something I posted somewhere else, so we see it twice, but I hope I haven't referred to something in a post I made since this post, saying that a look was here that now isn't here.  Sorry for the confusion!)

Outdoor Areas

I don't spend time lounging outdoors, but I sure love the look, and the idea of it. 
I wish I could, but it just doesn't fit into my schedule - priorities or something like that keep me from it. 
I guess I don't have a beach to do this either ... oh bother!
