Have you heard about the Daffodil Garden?

It's inspiring!

The Story of the Daffodil Garden as found on Blue Eyes and Biscotti

"The daffodil garden illustrates the God given potential that each one of us holds when we plant seeds one by one. Seeds of discipline, love, joy, peace, patience, goodness, faith, meekness, and self-control—seeds that will blossom in our garden one day, a breath-taking garden that draws others to Christ."

---

Share Our Garden shares this about The Daffodil Concept.

"The principle her daffodil garden teaches is one of the greatest principles of Life. Learning to let go, let God and how much just 'little you' can accomplish, one step at a time. Learning to love the journey, not the destination. Seeing the sights along the way. We can change our world."
---

More ... FYI -

The garden has been closed for several years, but it certainly brought joy to many people and has taught many more a great lesson ... and it will live on.

Knowledge is Power / Move a Pinterest Board

You've heard the saying KNOWLEDGE IS POWER ...

Knowledge Is Power

Well, I learned something the other day and it did empower me.

This new knowledge wasn't anything profound and you probably already knew it, but it sure made things easier for me.

So, what was it that I learned?
I learned that you can drag and drop your pinterest boards to alphabetize them.
This new knowledge has made finding my boards much easier when I try to search for one.

Knowledge Is Power But Action Gets Things Done

"Knowledge is power but action gets things done."

I just got so frustrated one day trying to find one of my boards and decided to click and drag a board to see if I could move it ...,  and it worked!   Now it is much less time consuming and much less frustrating.

Easter Sunday

We had a beautiful day!  Hope yours was lovely too!  Here is the only photo of our tablescape, taken just before I headed to bed Saturday evening.  Maybe you can tell that I'm still lovin' the vintage plates and stemware.

This was another time when I just used what I had and made it work.  Why spend more money on things and then try to find a place to store them?  I keep trying to ask myself that question so I don't go out and purchase what I might think I want and then be frustrated as I try to make room somewhere to store it, wondering if I'll ever really use it again.  What I have is enough!  for now anyway :)

I moved the flowers a bit and removed the black serving mat from the table Sunday and it looked even better.  The flowers were a gift and fit nicely on our Easter table.

Happy Easter!  let us always remember the wonderful gift of immortality and eternal life that the Savior, Jesus Christ has given us.

The Power of One

The Power of One...

I am only one, but I am one. I cannot do everything, but I can do something. And I will not let what I cannot do interfere with what I can do.

B.O.R.E.D.

I saw this on facebook and thought of the times my children have needed help finding something to do.  Sometimes it's hard for individuals to come up with something they think they want to do at the moment even when you have a list of things to do, so I'm not sure this is the solution, but it could certainly be a help.

B.O.R.E.D. ?
Try these things first!
