A Lovely Tier and A Lovely Site

I found this lovely idea

and it led me to a new site that is different than many others I've seen. The Graphics Fairy has some wonderful ideas and some clip art and prints that can be freely used.

Pretty Stuff

This pretty display is from Avant Couture Events Wedding Blog

Great pinterest boards too!  Check them out here.
Each board focuses on a color or a theme - lovely.
I have not yet clicked into any of the boards there because I know it will take a while to get thru them, but just looking at her page of boards is inspiring.
Not all of her boards are about weddings, but the majority are.  Take a look when you get a chance ..., I'm going to ..., more than once I'm sure!

Jeweled Cake Stands

This post got started because I saw these crystal / jeweled tiers or dessert stands / pedestals from Cocoa & Fig

Aren't they lovely? I know nothing about them, and can't seem to find them anywhere else.   I wondered if they were candle holders but I can't find them that way either. Oh Bother!

Here are some other things I did find :

For A Rustic Look

Scrap wood pieces made usable - Kind of intriguing to me. They'd be great for some rustic occasion.
DIY at Design Sponge

Keeping with the wood theme, check out the rustic table numbers at The Country Chic Cottage
Wood pieces could be used for signs of all sorts.

And here is a great look - blues and browns ...  wood ... pies ... garland ... etc.  -  From Bubble and Sweet    (Click on the link for more photos, including a great ribbon garland hanging on the table.)

We musn't forget these stump cake tiers from Blue Velvet Chair

And I really like the white stump look ... used for vases.  Found at Something Green

I think I like Something Green.  Here are a few more photos from there:

Bale seating is always eye catching to me.

Wrapping up a napkin like this is a great look.

Terrific Tiers

I have wanted to do this ever since I saw it done in a picture from a magazine several years ago. Each table has it's own tier full of desserts. No one has to get up and go anywhere for their food. Love the idea, but never thought I'd have enough tiers to do it. There are so many DIY's here that it just might be possible someday.
I can't seem to find the source for this photo. This post is full of that. I am so sorry! I'm learning!

I'm learning great things...this is one of them.
DIY ... a great tier from Decor-ganize

And this is another of them.
DIY ... a great tier bowl from The Crafting Chicks This is just the primer on them. Amazing transformation at this site!!!

DIY this rustic wood tier from Once Wed

Are these made with goblets? Vintage Treat Pedestals from BHLDN Shop They cost a pretty penny, but are fun to look at.

These are! DIY at Centsational Girl

Clay pot tier, don't know where it's from.

This is so delicate, but I don't know where it came from.

I wish I knew where I found this.
