Need a way to keep cool in the summer heat?
Most of these recipes sound very simple and have very few ingredients, though some are ingredients I don't always have on hand.

Now, this recipe - from me - though I cannot claim the recipe as mine, but our family does like it.
A friend brought it to a gathering many years ago and we loved it ... made it a few times ... forgot about it cause I didn't have it written down ... and I just remembered it again this summer.
Good stuff!
1 container raspberry sherbet
1 container cool whip, thawed
1 package pecan sandies cookies, crushed or broken into small pieces
Let the sherbet sit out for a little while to soften, mix with the cool whip and crushed/broken cookie pieces. Store in freezer of course. We like to serve it soon after we mix it, while it is still soft, but we have kept it a few days (in individual serving containers) and it still works nicely if you let it sit a couple/few minutes before eating.
