Backyard Bungalow and Indoor House

This has got to be one of the greatest garden rooms I've seen in a long time. This sweet children's bungalow is so inviting. They must not live in a windy area though, because it would all come crashing down and out of that lovely hide away here in this windy area. We'd really have to have a great wind break around it.

From The Handmade Home - the many photos here are so fun to look at.

Burlap and Twine Embellishments

More pink decor (I really don't dream in pink!)

I do love this look - pink and white with a touch of gold and of course greenery.
I love the frames, the pedestal tier, the doily...
I love the glass - glass sparkles.
This look is from Dying of Cute

I love the softness of this beautiful bouquet of light pink, white, and touch of blue.
It comes from Style Me Pretty

I love this table setting!  From HERE
The centerpiece would be the only thing I'd change here - it confuses me - maybe because I can't see it very well to know what it really is.

Barney Butter

This is good stuff!
The perfect replacement for a someone allergic to peanuts. Peanut free (and gluten free).

This is not a paid advertisement ... I'm just sharing.  I just found this stuff and really like it.  (But, if Barney really wanted to send me free product I'd accept it. SMILE HERE! )
I tried sunflower butter, and though I like sunflower nuts, it's really not a flavor I like in a butter.

I purchased these from Amazon, but there is a Barney Butter site HERE (beware of shipping prices there) to give you more info about the product.
Individual Packets from Amazon

Tassels on a Chain

These are so cute ... spendy, but cute.   They seem to inspire me to do something like that sometime.  We'll see if I ever do.  Not as a bracelet, but as decor for something ... somewhere ... sometime.

Wagon Wheel Bench & Crib Bench

I like this bench from Green Wedding Shoes

There are a few cool benches from Cassandra Design made from a crib.  Awesome.

Another Beautiful Barn...

And this one is fun, though I'm not sure I'd call it a barn.  From HERE

I think I'd like a barn with a side "porch" or lean to.  From HERE

This is pretty simple. From HERE

I love the old barns - what a look!  From Artifacts

I love a white barn.  There is one along the road from Ellensburg to Yakima that I always love to look at when we travel that way.  This isn't it, but it is an old white barn.  I don't really care for the smile face though.  From HERE

This open side barn is small yet great.  I like it a lot!  From HERE

Happiness and Pain

This quote is from Reflections
"If we have faith in Jesus Christ, the hardest as well as the easiest times in life can be a blessing."

"...all these things shall give thee experience, and shall be for thy good."

"...a foundation of faith in the reality of those promises takes time to build.  If the foundation of faith is not embedded in our hearts, the power to endure will crumble."

"Our choosing the right consistently whenever the choice is placed before us creates the solid ground under our faith."

"Trouble itself can be your way to strengthen and finally gain unshakable faith. "

"It is never too late to strengthen the foundation of faith. There is always time."

"In all conditions, we can choose the right with the guidance of the Spirit."

The complete message; Mountains to Climb, by President Eyring can be found HERE.

Wall Chair

This is a great idea!  I'm lovin' the look of this chair on a wall.  It comes from Dishfunctional Designs
That post shares several other great ideas and ways to upcycle a chair. Check it out!

Toy Box Shelves

I think these are great toy storage containers.  They come from The Land of Nod.  I think they made great bedside tables.

Love my L O V E Frame

I was inspired by this piece from SnowyBliss earlier this year as I was searching for decoration ideas for a 2012 Valentines Day Dinner Party I was decorating for.

That creation inspired me and lead me to create this.
(sorry the view is so dark)

I wanted to use it in my home after the party, but for an everyday look I didn't like the Valentine fabric I used.  Other things kept taking priority so it took me a while to get to that project. I still have a long TO DO list, but I finally decided it was time to get this frame out of my stuff room, out of my way, so that I could move on to other things (or at least move around without hitting into it and wishing it weren't in my way).
I went to my fabric stash and found different fabric to replace the pieces I didn't want on it anymore, and added chicken wire to the back of the frame.
I put in on the wall above our bed, inside a large gold empty frame I had there.  YEAH!  It's no longer stuffed in the way in my stuff room!

I'm still trying to decide if I'm pleased!!!!????  I'll live with it for awhile and see if there is something else that I decide to do with it.  Now, on to other things that need to get done.

A Rose for Every Year!

What a beautiful idea!  I suppose the colors help make it so ... I'm totally in to pinks and creams.   From A Little Loveliness

Odds and Ends, This and Thats

I don't use, or haven't used, numbers at tables, but I do like the look of these Framed Numbers from Between Naps on the Porch.   Maybe I'll find another reason to use a number display like this.

A fun set of frames from Green Wedding Shoes

This standing letter looks wonderful, and the idea of putting your marriage license on it is a great look for your wedding reception decor and then the home. Found on Pinterest.

ABC's = Attitude, Believe, Courage

Just wanted to add an extra "What Matters Most" post as my heart is quite heavy today and my mind needs the encouragement to think positively.

Image from 79 ideas

I've already followed this advice (more than once) - "When life gets to hard to stand, kneel."

From President Thomas S. Monson, comes this great message - Living the Abundant Life
"A in my ABCs refers to attitude. William James, a pioneering American psychologist and philosopher, wrote, “The greatest revolution of our generation is the discovery that human beings, by changing the inner attitudes of their minds, can change the outer aspects of their lives.”
So much in life depends on our attitude. The way we choose to see things and respond to others makes all the difference. To do the best we can and then to choose to be happy about our circumstances, whatever they may be, can bring peace and contentment.

Charles Swindoll—author, educator, and Christian pastor—said: “Attitude, to me, is more important than … the past, … than money, than circumstances, than failures, than successes, than what other people think or say or do. It is more important than appearance, giftedness, or skill. It will make or break a company, a church, a home. The remarkable thing is we have a choice every day regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day.”

We can’t direct the wind, but we can adjust the sails. For maximum happiness, peace, and contentment, may we choose a positive attitude."

His message continues with;
B is for believe—in yourself, in those around you, and in eternal principles.
C is for courage..., courage to face whatever challenges may come our way.

Great Wedding Looks

Decor and Photo Ops from a wedding at Green Wedding Shoes.
I do love a tent or canopy, and this sheer or mesh or tulle fabric makes a great look and a great place for a photo.

Balloons add a wonderful look too, in that beautiful gold color with the soft tone colored ribbon dangling from each.  It's a great place for photos too.

Love the Look! It must have been a beautiful wedding.
There is another wedding look on the same sight ... this one adds a different personality to the occasion.  It's an Eclectic Backyard Wedding - an outdoor area, with a great look.

The lounge area includes several sofas (check the site) and this bale sofa.

The bouquet is bright and beautiful.

Pinwheels grace the fence.

The dessert area includes great homemade mini pies.

Some drinks were served in this awesome sink tub in back of an old pickup.
