I don't remember where I learned about this little poem, but this is a card I created and attached to a container of m&ms many years ago to give to my family.  This card has been stored in my paper files ever since then.  I still think the message is cute!   (Someone must have shared it with me first.)

Bulbs of Beauty

Isn't this bulb collection beautiful. Bulbs of Pomegranate from Komali Nunna

That really wasn't the type of bulb I was meaning to post about, however, it is lovely and I couldn't leave it out.

I was really creating this post for Christmas bulbs - for these next couple pages I found in my paper files.

A smile is such a funny thing

Garden Beds

I do have garden beds, but I don't have the little seat area on the ends like this.  It's a great idea.

I think the top seat area would help hold it together better and be awesome for a great place to sit while weeding the garden.

One thing I have learned (the hard way) is that garden beds shouldn't be very wide.  It's too hard to weed in the middle of the box if they are too wide.

Here is a picture of our garden boxes, found in our scrapbooks - taken about 12 years ago.


 
Harvesting from them can be kinda fun!

 

 The look has changed since 2001.
I'll have to try for a photo next year, because I'm out of time this year.


 

Yard Tools Side Shed

I think this is a great storage shed / space

from a Sunset magazine, but I don't know what issue.

 

 

I have a plan to put something like this on the side of my pump house out by my garden.  I don't know when it will get done - it won't be this year - but I would love one there someday. 

 

Bed and Breakfast

This hide-away bed behind cupboard doors in the dining room could really be found in any room in the house.

I wonder if there is a bed in the upper cupboards too?

Lunch Boxes

Fun Stuff - Just something I had in my paper files -

 Wouldn't it be fun to serve a picnic or party lunch to guests in these old style lunch boxes?  Just think of the great assortment that could be collected.   So Fun!

 

 

 

and now days we can even buy this lunch box - too easy huh!

Boxed lunches are a fun thing right now.  I have collected a few boxed lunch looks in my Picnics and Outdoor Dining Pinterest Board. 

(Someday maybe I'll change the board to Boxed Lunches, but for now, it remains with my Picnics and Outdoor Dining - even though boxed lunches can be used inside too.)
