Oh the things people Think ..., and Do ..., and Create ...

image from A Curious Mind

There was some thinking going on with
these next projects -

I'll never look at a rug the same way again -
Striped Rug Pillows from Martha Stewart
I think they look great on the patio furniture or on the lawn for a picnic! How about on a bale of hay or straw?

Pillow

This is a pillow I saw a long time ago, before I knew to save the source, and now I can't find it.
I want to post is to remember it and hope to find it somewhere someday.

A Fun Gypsy Look!

When I saw this look from Once Wed it really caught my eye. This look appeals to me.
Just look at the pillows, cushions, colors, the wagon, the throws, the fun ... !

I have always loved the look of a gypsy wagon.
I think I could park one in my yard and enjoy it forever.

Maybe it could sit behind a field of wildflowers like this one from Amateur Gardening

Okay, back to Once Wed
This collection of silver is pretty awesome too.
The chest behind it is unique and not necessarily my favorite, but the idea of it is great.

The pillows, the gypsy wagon, and this chest and silver all combine to create a great atmosphere.

-----

After finding the look above, I saw this look ... another piece of lovely that I could park in my yard and enjoy forever.
I don't understand a thing this site says, but the photo comes from HERE
(actually there is a translate button so I did understand a little bit)

I wonder if this is the side view?

-----

Here is a cute little look - from Julie Rose Sews
she has a few other great campers on that post.

-----

This reminds me of an earlier post - HERE - I've wished for a vintage camper ever since that post ... do wishes really come true? Maybe some day when I have more time to waste. :)

-----
My calendar has this quote -

So, sitting out in the yard in one of these little gypsy wagons or a vintage camper wouldn't be wasted time huh?!?!?!?!

Decorative Pillow DIY

This is a cute pillow. When I saw it I thought of how fun it would be to use old pieces of clothing to make this pillow - as a memory pillow and/or conversational piece.

A Lovely Attraction

For some reason I have been attracted to the pink and gold color pallet lately.
I have posted some pink and gold in earlier posts,
HERE, HERE and HERE,
but I've seen a few more and really love that look.

Beautiful Glistening Pink from Zenadia Design

Sweet favors from I Do ... One Day!

From Sweet Designs

Check out Martha Stewart for a pink and gold gallery

A pink and gold table setting from The Enchanted Home

Streamer Garland from Brown Eyed Belle

This is sold, but lovely to look at - a pink and gold Damask Throw Pillow from Etsy

There is a great pink and gold Lady's Vanity but I couldn't copy the photo for my post. If you are into pink and gold, this could be your favorite - click on the link to view it.

And lastly, a beautiful pink and gold sky from flickr (Isn't it beautiful!)

I wonder what colors I'll be attracted to next? I can't hold on to pink and gold forever. A GREEN season is coming up - will that catch my eye?

Maybe I'll drop the pink and keep the gold ...
Just look at this gorgeous cake!
Pink would be beautiful with it, but so would a number of other colors.
I'd love to really see this cake ... not just a picture of it.
From Diva Entertains (There is a pink and gold cake on that post too.)

Warm Up Your House

Warm your room with a sweater pillow.
How to's at Centsational Girl

Or a sweater pumpkin ... or two ....
This fall mantel is from The Country Chic Cottage

Warm up your entrance with a cotton wreath. From grdnbklyn.wordpress.com

Warm up the table. Notice the glass/vase on the table with a sock or sweater sleeve or something of the sort wrapped around it. So fun. From A thoughtful Place

I love a beautiful crackling fire in a fireplace. It's such a cozy way to warm up your home. The first is a cabin look from Standout Fireplace Designs and the second is the same site, with a beautiful white mantel.

Curl up by the fire with some comfy socks ... like Socky the Snowman from Sadie Priss

Doilies on Display

I love doilies! I might even have enough to make one of these doily garlands, found at Elizabeth Anne Designs.

I don't know where this comes from, but I still like the look. I can't say the guy is thrilled to be holding it, but I like it anyway.

I know this first table runner is on Pinterest, but I don't know if that is where I found it the first time I saved the Look. But doilies are always pretty...and an assortment of them is all the lovely.

From U Create.

I like this Look. Pretty Wraps found on Pinterest

Still looking for where I found this look.

A similar look comes from a shop at Esty (It's very possible that is where I first found it, and it sold)

Paper Doilies Too:
Nicely Done! Envelopes from Martha Stewart

Also from Martha Stewart, these Lacy Luminarias

Doily under clear plates. I think this is a great idea. Use colored doilies (I've spray painted them before) to work with your decor and to change things up a bit with the clear plates from time to time. Again, from Martha Stewart

Box inserts. With Joy

Also at With Joy is a doily wrapped invite.

Doily Favor Bags. They used paper, and it is very awesome...I love the look. I would also like to see it with cloth doilies. indieBerries Includes DIY.

Wrap a bottle or glass. Whisker Graphics

This post started with a garland and will end with one now -

Or Two :)

Okay, I found one more that had to be added, so I'm not ending with a doily garland, I am ending this post with a doily cookie. Photo found at Tara Sloggett

Um, and another...
