I saw this and thought it was a great thing to remember.  :)day!

I can't wait to find a penny on the ground!  ;)

It's worth spreading around.
 

Irena Sendler is one special person.

 

 

 

 

Just look at that sweet face - doesn't she look like a sweet old woman (I say that with much respect) -
What a beautiful smile!
 

There is certainly a happiness that comes from helping others - it looks to me like she found that happiness.
She earned and deserved it with her brave and courageous acts of kindness. 

 

There is surely a special place in heaven for her!

Who IS in that Mirror?

Saw this on Facebook and thought it was cute.  It brought me a smile, maybe it will bring a smile your way too.

(I believe my house is haunted.  Every time I look in the mirror a crazy old lady stands in front of me so I can't see myself.)

Smile, Giggle, Sleep

I was sitting at my computer one morning and just searching a few places.  I grabbed a leftover Christmas Dove chocolate and found this saying on the wrapper -

 

 

 

That brought a smile to my heart and face.  Maybe because I didn't have a very restful night the night previous to that, though I don't think it was because I didn't smile before bed.  ;)

 

 

Anyway, I continued searching blogs and found this from The Hunted Interior.

 

Isn't that sweet! 

 

 

It probably intrigued me a bit more than usual because I had just been thinking about my smile and happiness posts as you might have read in my most recent One Word post.

 

 

Is it all coincidental or is there really something to it?

Christmas Smiles

A poem I found in my files - don't know the author, but it's worth keeping.

 

A smile is such a funny thing

It wrinkles up your face

And when it's gone you never find

It's secret hiding place.

 

But far more wonderful it is,

To see what smiles can do.

You smile at one, he smiles at you,

And so one smile makes two.

 

And since a smile can do so much

By cheering hearts of care,

Let's smile a lot this Christmas time -
