Fondue Bar

Finding the right combination of sauces and dipping foods can be easy when you think about what you are trying to accomplish. Decide if you want it savory or sweet or a little of both.
The Internet is full of fondue recipes. Here are a few ideas.

A List of Dippers
- berries, pineapple chunks, large slices banana, grapes, apple or pear wedges, orange sections, and other fruits,
- graham crackers, vanilla wafers, lady fingers, butter cookies, and other cookies,
- pound cake squares, angel food cake squares, banana bread, brownie bites and other cakes and breads,
- donut holes, pretzels, ice cream balls, homemade marshmallows
- crisp biscotti, french bread cubes, bagel cubes, corn bread cubes, and other breads,
- tortillas, crackers, and other chips
- bell peppers, mushrooms, celery, carrot, jicama sticks, blanched broccoli and cauliflower and other vegetables,
- cooked tortellini and other cheese or meat filled pasta,
- cubed cooked potato wedges,
- cooked shrimp, cooked and cubed pork or beef, and other cooked meats,

Sauces seem best if homemade but even bottled sauces can be heated and used to dip. Some of our favorite sauces we've made in the past include Chocolate Marshmallow, Creamy Caramel, White Chocolate, Mexican Cheese Fondue, Bacon-Cheddar Cheese Fondue, and we have also opened a bottle of Alfredo Sauce and warmed it.
