These colors go nicely with another color combo I like in a different wedding, also found on 100 Layer Cake. There is color, but it is so soft and calming.

I would like to see them for real. They appeal to me in the photo and seem to be a cute way to add color to the event.

I love books too, and these are soft colors. Great idea - make your own book covers to match the colors you are using. You can even write your own titles or quotes on the covers that way. (I'll have to watch for this photo to come up again so I know where it came from.)
